Online Psychotherapy · Georgia & Pennsylvania

Therapy that makes room for the whole person.

You do not need to arrive with the right diagnosis, the perfect words, or a clear plan. Therapy can begin with what you are noticing, what has become difficult, and what you would like to understand or change.

Clinical Pathways

Different concerns can be connected.

Therapy rarely fits into one diagnostic box. These broader pathways reflect the kinds of concerns I work with and the ways symptoms, experiences, relationships, and life circumstances can overlap.

01

Trauma & Recovery

Trauma, PTSD, difficult childhood experiences, safety, avoidance, emotional and physical reactivity, and patterns that can persist after overwhelming experiences. Work may focus on understanding what happened, what your nervous system learned to expect, and what helps you feel safer and more present now.

02

Anxiety, Mood & Attention

Anxiety, depression, bipolar concerns, ADHD, emotional regulation, concentration, sleep, motivation, and overlapping symptoms that sometimes require careful assessment. The goal is not to force every experience into one label, but to understand the pattern well enough to choose useful treatment.

03

Alcohol & Substance Use

Alcohol use disorder, problematic substance use, coping patterns, ambivalence about change, recovery, relapse prevention, harm reduction or abstinence goals, and the role substances may be playing in daily life. Treatment is collaborative and does not use shame as a strategy.

04

Grief, Stress & Life Transitions

Bereavement, caregiver strain, burnout, career and relationship changes, relocation, health changes, identity shifts, and periods when life feels harder to carry. Therapy can make room for both the reality of what has changed and the question of what comes next.

05

Relationships & Family

Couples and family dynamics, communication, trust, boundaries, conflict, attachment, repair, and patterns affecting connection. The work focuses on understanding what happens between people, what each person brings into the pattern, and what can change.

100% Virtual Care

Therapy can meet you where you are.

No commute. No waiting room. No unfamiliar office.

Wayside Mental Health is a fully virtual practice. Sessions are provided through secure telehealth, allowing you to meet from a private space where you feel comfortable.

For some people, that means settling onto the sofa with a cup of coffee nearby. For others, it means closing the home-office door for an hour, sitting in a favorite chair, or choosing another private place where they can speak freely.

The setting may be virtual. The relationship is still very real.

Your hourArrive as you are. You do not need to make your home look or feel like a therapy office.

How I Work

Treatment is not one-size-fits-all.

I draw from established psychotherapy approaches based on the concern we are addressing, your needs, your preferences, and the goals we identify together. A modality is a tool, not your identity, and not every approach is equally appropriate for every condition.

Assessment before assumptions. Recognizing yourself in a symptom description can be useful, but it is not the same as receiving a diagnosis. Good therapy remains curious about what else may be contributing and what kind of support actually fits.
What sessions are like

Warm, practical and collaborative.

I want therapy to be a place where you can speak honestly without feeling reduced to a diagnosis. Sessions may include reflection, psychoeducation, skill building, identifying patterns, processing difficult experiences, practicing new responses, and translating insight into changes outside the therapy hour.

Talk & understand

We explore what is happening, what may be contributing to it, and what matters most to you.

Work toward change

Together, we identify practical and clinically appropriate ways forward.

Not sure where to begin?

You can come with the question.

You do not need to know whether what you are experiencing is anxiety, trauma, ADHD, burnout, grief, a relationship problem, or something else before reaching out. We can begin with what is happening and work toward greater understanding together.
